What will it cost?

An offsite escape game is a live, facilitated, immersive experience where teams solve puzzles to escape within a set time, held at a venue of your choice rather than a fixed escape room. Our hosts are physically present, often in costume, and the format scales from 10 to more than 1,000 people.

Team building usually aims at a skill, such as communication or problem-solving. Team bonding aims at the relationship, so people leave actually knowing and trusting each other. A facilitated escape game does both at once: colleagues solve a shared case under a running clock, which builds the skill and the bond in the same afternoon.

It is an escape room game, but it does not run in an escape room. Instead of booking a small fixed room for 6 people, we bring the game to a venue: a museum, a WWII fort on Sentosa, a wildlife park, or your own office or function space. Teams play in parallel, indoors and outdoors, which is why the format takes 10 to 1,000+ people while a retail escape room takes 6 at a time. We ran physical escape rooms in Singapore from 2013, so it is the same puzzle craft at a size that fits a whole company.

We run games for groups of roughly 10 to 1,000+ people. Our minimum is 10 pax, and we scale all the way to 1,000+. Different games have different maximum capacities, from 50 up to 1,000, so we will match the game to your headcount.

For a large group, pick a format that runs the same experience in parallel across many teams at one venue on one day, so nobody sits out. Our offsite escape games do this from 10 pax up to more than 1,000, at venues such as River Wonders, Fort Siloso and Haw Par Villa, or at your own office. They suit company D&Ds, department offsites, conferences and family days.

The total is a game fee plus venue admission and venue fees. The game fee is a fixed fee plus SGD 20 per person: Standard, the self-guided option, starts at SGD 300 fixed, and Immersive at SGD 1,100 fixed. Both run on MazeFox, our own web app, and both come with one of our staff hosting the game. The immersive option adds cosplay facilitators around the venue. For larger self-guided groups the effective rate works out from about SGD 23 per person. Admission and venue fees depend on the venue you choose. At venues across Singapore, including River Wonders, Sentosa's Fort Siloso, Haw Par Villa, the Asian Civilisations Museum, Chinatown, Battlebox at Fort Canning and more. Several games can also run at any indoor venue, including your own office or a space we help you find.

Yes. Four of our games are played entirely outdoors: Whisper of the Guardians through Chinatown, Lost Treasure of Sarang Rimau across Fort Siloso on Sentosa, Journey to the End and Back through Haw Par Villa, and River Lockdown around River Wonders. They work the way an escape room does, with a story, a clue chain and a running clock, except the ground is a real place instead of a set. Facilitators are on the route in costume, so it is a staffed game rather than a self-guided app trail.

Standard is SGD 300 fixed and self-guided on our MazeFox web app with one of our staff hosting, so 100 pax works out at about SGD 23 a head. Immersive is SGD 1,100 fixed and adds cosplay facilitators around the route. On top of that sit the venue's own fees, which for the outdoor games means an admission ticket at River Wonders and venue hire at Haw Par Villa. Fort Siloso and Chinatown need neither. We are non-GST registered, so there is no GST on top.

Fort Siloso, Haw Par Villa and River Wonders each take up to 1,000 pax, and Chinatown takes 200. Scale is where outdoor games usually fall over, so we run big groups as small teams released in waves on staggered route orders. Every checkpoint sees a steady trickle instead of the whole field arriving at once. Every route also has sheltered hold points, and rain pauses the clock rather than ending the game.

It is a five-step process. Choose your game, add any extras such as catering or transport, receive a tailored proposal from our events team, confirm the event, then enjoy your game day. Start by requesting a proposal and we will take it from there.

Bank transfer (PayNow UEN and a credit-card payment link), government portals including Vendors@Gov and GeBIZ, and company-specific vendor-management portals. We are non-GST registered.

Ours are priced as one event rather than per seat. The game fee is a one-off fixed fee plus SGD 20 per person: SGD 300 fixed for Standard, which is self-guided on our MazeFox web app with one of our staff hosting, or SGD 1,100 fixed for Immersive, which adds cosplay facilitators around the venue. So a 50-pax Standard game is SGD 1,300, or SGD 26 per person, and a 200-pax Standard game is SGD 4,300, or SGD 21.50 per person. Venue admission and an exclusive-space venue fee can apply depending on the game. We are non-GST registered, so no GST is added.

Pick Standard rather than Immersive, bring a bigger group, and choose a game that runs at your own office or seminar room. Only the fixed half of the fee is fixed, so the rate per person drops as the group grows: SGD 50 per person at 10 pax, SGD 26 at 50, SGD 23 at 100 and about SGD 21 at 200. Running at your own venue removes the venue fee, and games with no paid attraction attached remove the admission fee.

No. The Escape Artist is non-GST registered, so the figure we quote is the figure you pay. Any venue admission or venue hire arranged through a third party is passed on at cost and may carry its own GST, which we show separately in the proposal.

A puzzle hunt is a timed game where teams work through a chain of linked puzzles, each answer opening the next, until someone finishes the story. It is the same craft as an escape room, without the room: the puzzles are spread across a venue, a neighbourhood or a park, so hundreds of people can play the same game at the same time. Most people in Singapore call it an escape game. Puzzle hunt is the name used by people who play them for fun.

Nearly. A retail escape room locks 6 to 8 people in a themed set for 60 minutes. A puzzle hunt takes the same puzzle chain outside and runs it for 10 to 1,000 people at once, at a museum, a fort, a wildlife park or your own office. Nobody is locked in, the teams move, and the clock still runs. We built and ran physical escape rooms in Singapore from 2013 before we moved the games offsite, so the puzzles come from the same workshop.

That is how 600 people at Fort Siloso is a run sheet rather than a queue. Singapore has only a handful of operators running games at this size; we have been doing it since 2013.
